Meet with China business partners on a neutral territory without VISA

A meeting with Chinese suppliers can be conducted on the territory of ICBC "Khorgos".

It is NOT required to open Kazakhstani or Chinese visas in the territory of the ICBC. The duration of stay on Khorgos is limited to 30 days.

The entrance and exit to the Free Trade Area is possible every day, seven days a week from 7 AM until 7 PM.

You can reach the ICBC "Khorgos" from Almaty by:

• By train # 394C "Almaty-2 - Altynkol" for 6 hours 12 minutes.
• By car via the old road Almaty-Khorgos (350 km, 5 hours on the road)
• By car on the new highway Almaty-Horgos (304km, 3 hours on the road). AUTOBAN IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Driving is allowed with the special passes and to local residents.

You can stay overnight at ICBC Khorgos in:

•     To the hotel "Dong Fang Jin Xiu"
•     The SCO Hotel (Shanghai Cooperation Organization)

You can eat at ICBC Khorgos in:

• Chinese Cultural Center (DC)
• The restaurant in the pavilion "Dong Fang Jin Xiu"

Cellular communication and Internet on Khorgos:

• Operators Tele2 and Altel work at an acceptable level. Tele2 can operate in 4G mode when the GSM-operator is forcibly set in Phone and the 4G LTE communication mode is chosen.
• Activ and Kcell work in 3G mode.
• Beeline's quality of communication and voice clarity exceeds all operators.

When approaching Khorgos, we recommend that you disconnect data in roaming and do NOT receive calls, without making sure that the phone is in the home network, and not in roaming.
